This privacy notice applies to Codego KYC, a service operated by Codego Group LTD (Malta) and its group entities (collectively, "Codego"). It describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent local laws.

When you submit an enquiry via the contact form, we ask for your name, company, email address and a description of your project. The form opens your local email client and we receive only what you choose to send. We do not place any analytics or tracking cookies on this website beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the pages.
Through the Codego KYC application we collect and process your device and geographic location data. Collection of location data is mandatory and is required to fulfil our legal and regulatory compliance obligations — including anti-money-laundering (AML), counter-terrorist-financing, sanctions screening, fraud prevention and identity-verification requirements — and to provide the KYC service itself. If location data is not provided, we may be unable to deliver or continue the KYC service. This data is processed on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation and performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), is retained for the period required by applicable AML/KYC record-keeping rules, and is never used for advertising or shared with third-party data brokers.
We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Correspondence is retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted unless we have entered a commercial relationship in which case contract-related obligations apply.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Maltese Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
This website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Plesk-managed servers located in the European Union. Email is processed by Codego's own mail infrastructure. No personal data is shared with third-party advertisers, brokers or analytics platforms.
